Tennessee's Kentucky Lake is the largest reservoir in the TVA system. It is 187
miles long and boasts over 2300 miles of shoreline.
The widest portion of the lake is found in Henry County where the famous Big
Sandy River meets the Tennessee River.
Kentucky Lake is within a day's drive of 70% of the Nation's population. Our
map
shows how close we are to various cities.
A new four lane highway and bridge make this area the southern gateway to Land
Between the Lakes, TVA's national recreation area.
